This blog is not for those with a weak stomache.
Here are two photos of the kids making the name plates for our Thanksgiving dinner. The tags were little shopping bags with fall leaf stickers on them and a tootsie roll inside each bag. I was planning on taking a bunch of photos at Thanksgiving throughout the day so I have lots
of pictures to use for this blog. But my body wasn't cooperating. I ended up with a massive migraine. The pain was so bad, I hurled twice before finally deciding I've got to get home. Chris had the pleasure of driving me home while I hurled again in the car. I was able to fall asleep at home and by the time my family made it home at 10:00 pm I was feeling better.
I completely missed Thanksgiving dinner. I did have plenty of time to reflect on what I'm thankful for. I'm thankful for my healthy children and husband. I'm thankful for my chriropractor who had my headaches manageable and who I haven't been to for over a year and must go back to as soon as possible. My bad, I should have been to him sooner. I'll be calling him first thing Monday for an appointment.
Oh Carrie :(
ReplyDeleteMigraines are THE WORST!! So sorry. Next year, you will be SO THANKFUL for THANKSGIVING DINNER since this year you missed it, and then some.
Carrie,
ReplyDeleteIt is Julie from Baker. I can't believe I didn't know you were a fellow migraine sufferer. I have been a sufferer for about 12 years now and recently just had the same kind of day you did in October. Email or call me and I will tell you a couple of main things that I have done which helped me so much to where it is now VERY rare that I get them. They are the worst!! I am glad you recovered from it.
